Guidance That Begins With Listening.
Dishaah was built around a simple belief: students make informed, better decisions when they understand themselves before they start comparing options.
Making Space for Better Decisions.
Education has more choices than ever. That is exciting, but it can also make decisions harder. Students hear about new careers, new courses and universities every day. Parents want to help, but often don't know where to begin.
We create space for the student to think, ask questions, explore possibilities and move forward with a plan.
Sudarshana P. Shukla
Sudarshana Shukla has spent nearly two decades guiding students and families through the college and career planning journey. At the heart of her work is empathic listening — she takes time to understand not just a student's grades and goals, but their worries and unspoken questions, offering guidance that truly fits each individual.
From 2004 to 2022, Sudarshana served as full-time Career Guidance Counsellor at the Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai, supporting over 8,000 students with applications to universities across the US, Canada, UK, Netherlands, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, and India.
She has held leadership roles with IACAC, the University of Toronto's International Counsellor Advisory Board, and the College Board's International Advisory Committee, and received the Molly Abraham Lifetime Achievement Award (IC3, 2020).
Sudarshana walks alongside the whole family, not just the applicant. If you're navigating this journey, she'd love to hear from you — every journey starts with a conversation.

Vision & Mission
Vision Statement
To be a trusted guide for every student and family navigating the path from school to university — where each young person feels truly heard, understood, and empowered to pursue a future that is authentically their own.
Mission Statement
My mission is to listen first and guide second — helping students and their families navigate the college and career planning journey with clarity, confidence, and care. Through personalized, empathic counselling grounded in nearly two decades of experience, I work to uncover each student's unique strengths, aspirations, and concerns, and to connect them with opportunities — in India and around the world — that are the right fit for who they are, not just where they can get in.
The Dishaah Approach
Listen Carefully
Hear the student beyond grades and applications.
Understand the Student
Understand strengths, interests, concerns and aspirations.
Explore Possibilities
Open up meaningful academic and career possibilities.
Make Sense of the Choices
Bring clarity and structure to the options.
Plan the Next Step
Turn understanding into a practical way forward.
Good guidance doesn't tell a student who to become. It helps them understand who they can become.
Every Journey Starts With a Conversation.
If you're navigating the college and career planning process, Sudarshana would love to hear from you. You don't need to have all the answers before you begin.
